Premier Division - Brackley Town, ahead from a twelfth minute penalty, continued their championship push with a 3-0 home win over Hemel Hempstead Town, who slipped to second from the bottom as a result of Swindon Supermarine's 2-1 home win over Stourbridge which left them just two points behind Banbury United, who went down 1-0 to an injury time strike at Bedford Town. Chesham United, ahead in the first minute, eventually ran out 4-2 winners at Arlesey Town and moved into second replacing Oxford City who were held to a 0-0 draw at home by fifth placed Cambridge City while AFC Totton held on to fourth spot when they scored nine minutes from time to secure a home 1-1 draw with Chippenham Town who had taken the lead in the ninth minute of the second half. Barwell, ahead after seven minutes but pulled back level in time added on at the end of the first half, scored ten minutes from time to win 2-1 at home against Hitchin Town while Leamington's play-off hopes were dented as they were held to a 0-0 draw at Frome Town while St Albans City, two ahead mid-way through the second half, also had to settle for a point from a 2-2 home draw when Weymouth scored twice in the final ten minutes. Redditch United increased their own chances of avoiding relegation but plunged visiting Evesham United deeper into trouble with a 3-1 victory while a goal thirteen minutes from the end gave Bashley a 1-0 win at Cirencester Town to send their hosts down.
