How good did he play yesterday?

Was gutted the only game I could get to over easter was the one he missed against Stourbridge Sad

Him and his brother have been incredible since they have been playing together in our team. So hope we can hang on to them for next season, even just one of them!

Lee Hendrie has kept us in the league, i don't care what people say.

Hopefully we keep Stu, but i can't see Lee staying unfortunately.

Pre-season should be interesting!

I don't think it is beyond all possibilites that Lee would not stay.

We as fans have to do our bit.

If we can get 400 down there, sell the predictor, lottery, encourage family functions etc, the purse will be there....

He has enjoyed his time at he Reds playing alongside his brother who I think has been our best player over the last 6 games.

We have to get the money to keep him...

It has been a joy and a pleasure to watch Lee Hendrie play. I'm sure he has answered the critics who said he

would be a waste of time, and have no positive effect on the team and would not contribute in game play. I

hope all those detractors are enjoying eating their humble pie.

He has enjoyed his football here and I want to say Thank-you Lee for your contribrution and goals which have

helped us to stay in the league

He's been brilliant. Attitude in training has been first class and he's had a huge influence in lifting the team towards the end of the season. It was great to see the lads play without pressure yesterday, it is so hard playing with the threat of relegation looming, yesterday I think with the shackles off we played some great stuff from front to back, and it was great to see Spud get 90 minutes as well. We have the foundations of something really good on the pitch, a young side with a belief in the Manager, we just have to try keep them all together now. To see some of them go will just undo the ground work from this season.

OK...so the mission is to get 1000 at the 1st home game.

How to do it? Ideas?

$5 entry and free for under 16s.
Present and introduce all youth & ladies teams on the pitch before the game
Post match concert by the Suga Momas
Freddie Star on the PA
Sign Lee Hendrie & a prolific striker
Advertise every week
1st team night out in Redditch to meet the 18-30 yrs
RUFC theme night in Steps/Bramley etc.
Market stall in the town with flags, merchandise etc.
Facebook/twitter campaign
Free raffle ticket on entry with $500 1st prize

Any thoughts? Worth a punt? or too much like hard work/never happen in Redditch?

All good ideas Steve but the club need to agree to it. Me personally?

Hyde has gone so appoint Paul West. Target first home game with reduced admission/incentive to come back.

We need a proven goalscorer. Lee Hendrie IMO won't be at this level next season, he will be playing at a higher standard and he has stated that pretty much in his interview in the NLP
