I see from the scrolling message there is a New Years Eve Party.... is this on or an out of date message? ....if it is on is anyone planning to go?

I guess this reflects the problems of previous threads - no real visibilty of the event tickets being on sale or openly marketed, I'm sure the fans will be blamed.

What is more concerning is that Ken Rae et al were ridiculed for exactly the same, yet now it is fair game to supporters closest to the club.

Cretin organised events in the bar, I remember once going to see some lap dancers there in some kind of gentleman's evening, I even ran out of money and Cretin lent me 50 quid then when I popped down the club in the week to pay it back as arranged, he didn't have a clue!!!!
Also remember some night there with Barry Fry, that would've been around the same sort of time!!!

What is worrying is the last time a club event wasn't supported the owners say they considered selling the club!!!!!

i was told the club will be open on new years eve , yes the party is cancelled but some of us are still going down to have a few drinks and a chat ,if you fancy it come down we should have a laugh ,music will be played ,some of us are bringing plates of sandwiches and odds and sods
