What do you think to the trust running a draw each week for the public to win a free ticket(s)?

It may encourage more to visit The Valley.

Why not try and get people to join the TRUST @ The Gate each home game? Just think each game could get an additional member to donate on a monthly basis.

I have sent a proposal to Steve Workman and Dave Jones for the club to set up a 100 club. I will try and speak to Dave this afternoon if he is at the game to see how we progress this with the club. If it does move forward it needs the club to show clear tracability of what the money is going to be used for (eg servicing debt, club running costs (eg leccy/gas)). There is a chance here to make circa £1,500 to £2,000 per year if you can get over 100 members paying £2 a month and paying out a monthly prize pot. Simple but effective.

What do you think to a free ticket draw for each home game, then?

Each week, a lucky winner could win a free ticket, or a pair of tickets, say.

Where was you thinking of aiming the free prize draw? (ie. where and who to?)

If there was some way of making sure that the two free tickets could be used by a regular fan, as long as the other one was used by a first-timer then great. But there's no way of proving it and no way of stopping them splitting the difference with their usual 'matchday mate'.

Maybe as a one-off, all TRUST members could bring along a friend for free? (membership card to be shown at gate upon entry).
I think there's around 50 TRUST members at the moment, so this would bring upto 50 new fans to a match.
Or, if you brought 2 friends along then they could split the cost of a full paying adult and the free ticket, meaning £4.50 each. Again they would both have to be non-regular fans as this would defeat the objective. This would increase attendance by upto 100 people for selected fixture.

If/When we utilise the free placement offered to us by the Kingfisher Centre, we could do a lucky dip for free tickets?
A bucket full of folded paper slips, that passers by can pick out at random (1 go per person). These slips could have free entry for 2 on a specific home fixture, half priced entry for yourself and a friend, group of 4 for £12 (no age limit), a free burger & drink (that TRUST could pay for).
Each winning slip would be for a different home fixture to reduce the loss of gate receipts.

Obviously the above would be Ken's decision, but worth a try?

I've had your card along with many other TRUST members for a while now. Trouble is I've I haven't been able to hand them all out as I either haven't met the person yet and don't know what they look like, or they rarely turn up on matchdays/meetings etc.
I left them in the club shop for a while for people to pick up, however I didn't mention it on the forum Head against wall
I will leave any membership cards that are yet to be collected, inside the clubshop (if this is ok with Team Rawlings?), and then people can collect as and when.

If you are a TRUST member your username should be bright red, and you should be able to access the TRUST section.
If you are a TRUST member, but your username is dark red, then please PM me with your name and I'll add you to the group, as I'm not sure who is who with some usernames.

Cheers

The target audience would be the public.

They receive a free ticket (if drawn), and if they don't use it, then there is no loss.

Validty : Either for a specific time, a specific time period, or a specific person (has their name on it).

The draw could be ran on our main page, and as frequently as required.

Hopefully HQ would donate the ticket(s) directly.

The Winner could either enter the draw, or our whole contacts list thrown in automatically.

Going back on what I said about plastic cards, It probably wouldn't work.

Trust Membership is £2.00 per month, and the average member is likely to purchase it for one whole season. After that point, a batch of new cards has to be produced, wasting plastic and cost.

Another option would be to sell (for instance) along the lines of 3 year membership, and perhaps discounts or extended rewards could be offered to those who purchase long term membership.

Proof of membership upon entry. Trust members receive certain discounts/privelidges, like £2.00 off

I'll grab my card on Saturday then lads! Get it ready to hand over, you have been having my cash for months Very Happy

Can somebody ensure I am on the minutes email distribution pls? Dave Jones was going to raise my idea about a 100/500 club on Monday but could not make it. I had emailed it to Steve as well. What I will do is try and get to the next TRUST meeting to go through it.

It needs to be signed onto by the club if they want to use it to clear debt though in a clear and accountable manner Rules

If not we can run it through TRUST and make more money to bank and maybe use it to buy the club Screen Punch
