Postponements

Post  Terrace Guy on Mon Dec 21, 2015 12:13 pm

Does anyone else think it's slightly odd that we've had so many postponements recently?

This is after all, one of the mildest Decembers on record and i cant think we've had as much rain as previous years when games have been on.

Went to the ground Saturday...pitch was very heavy with water....same as all surrounding areas.

Nothing to do with Liam replacing Dubidant... Laughing

To be fair, it has been really, really wet over the last month or so. I've not found it to be odd, I've found the postponements to quite predictable.

Maybe it will be the last season that we have this problem? I assume we are having a 3G pitch installed? I've only heard rumours, but nothing official.

If you look at the last few weeks we have had a lot of rain and it has been at times when the game is due to be played.

Merthyr fans were pissed off Tuesday as the game at Stratford was postponed about 1900 when they had already travelled!
